We completed the eleventh edition with live performances by the British acts Fat Dog, Faeda, and ARXX.

The radical electronics of VVV [Trippin’ You] and the elastic sound of the Basque band EZEZEZ, new additions to the 2026 lineup, alongside the Canary Islands acts Good Franco, Xerach, and Belice

The festival, which takes place on September 4th and 5th in Puerto de la Cruz, is returning to its two-stage format with 18 live artists, and a third stage, Phe Club, dedicated to dance music, with its lineup to be announced in the coming days.

The eleventh edition of Tenerife Phe Festival, which will be held on September 4 and 5 in the Tenerife municipality of Puerto de la Cruz, completes its artistic lineup with the addition of three British bandsFat Dog, Faeda and Arxx. Alongside these three international artists, to whom are added the also British Ibibio Sound Machine, Getdown Services and She Mafalda, New Yorkers Bodega And the Argentine singer Natalia Doco, Phe Festival will bring high-voltage national acts to Puerto de la Cruz, such as the radical electronic music from the Madrid-based band VVV [Trippin’ You], and the elastic sound mosaic between rock, grunge, and funk that the Bilbao natives defend EZEZEZ.

Three other Canary Islands projects will be present at the eleventh edition of the Tenerife festival: Good Franco, Xerach and Belice. Three proposals that were finalists for the Sonora 2026 group contest, and in the case of Good Franco, a co-winner with Los Blody, will perform at Phe Festival with the Sonora Passport.

With the presence of Fat Dog, English band formed in 2020 in Southeast London by Joe Love, Chris Hughes, Morgan Wallace, and Johnny Doghead Hutch, Tenerife Phe Festival reaffirms its dedication to being an international showcase with musical acts that challenge traditional genres.

In this case, Fat Dog promises a show in Puerto de la Cruz on the first weekend of September. The incendiary debut single King of the Slugs, in August 2023, a punk-techno hybrid put Fat Dog on the map. Their debut album Woof (Domino/Music As Usual, 2024) showcases the eclecticism of this band that “combines chaotic electronics, Balkan melodies, wild surrealism, and punk attitude in an unpredictable cocktail that could be placed between Viagra Boys, Underworld, and The Fall.”mondosound).

Two other British formations Faeda and ARXX complete the presence of international artists. Faeda This is a "greater seams" indie rock band from the Scottish town of Thurso, comprising Robbie McNicol (vocals and guitar), Sam Cowan (drums), Cole Cummings (bass), and Jamie Mackay (guitar), who have released a handful of singles that have earned them a reputation as the Scottish band with the best live shows.

The Scots, authors of All thorns, no horses. Look me in the eye. or Too Wild to Last, Too Rare to Die, arrive at Phe Festival in Tenerife, brought to you by The Spanish Wave along with the people of Bilbao EZEZEZ.

The Spanish Wave It is a project for the internationalization of Spanish talent that aims to help export emerging artists and bands from our country, and Phe Festival has renewed its collaboration agreement for the second consecutive year in 2026, which favors the presence of one national and one international artist/group selected by this platform for the eleventh edition of the Porto festival.

EZEZEZ In a band originating from Bilbao, formed by Unai Madariaga (vocals, guitar), Mikel Irigoyen (bass), Eneko Ajangiz (guitar), and Álvaro Olaetxea (drums), they have burst onto the scene with force since their formation in 2021, shaking the foundations of the national independent scene with a proposal brimming with quality, originality, and tons of attitude. In the vein of bands like Idles or Viagra Boys, EZEZEZ reveal themselves to be elastic, surprising, and restless, taking pop foundations and molding them with the grit of punk, the individuality of grunge, and the nerve of rock. To this, they add funk elements, reggae nods, Euskal culture, poetry, humor, performance, message, and experimentation to achieve, as a result, a unique project.

Its third studio album, Kabarkiba, it is the riskiest and most accurate of his career to date, and it serves to seal an upward trajectory well supported by the previous album Katuzaldía and the more than 90 presentation concerts.

Queer power pop and wild electronica

For its part, ARXX is a duo of queer power pop born in Brighton, who form

singer and guitarist Hanni Pidduck and drummer Clara Townsend. “Imagine Taylor Swift if she had only listened to Nirvana,” the band explains in their Bandcamp bio to introduce themselves. In 2024, they released the single Crying in the Carwash which gave them a certain popularity, leading them to perform on the BBC Introducing stage at the Glastonbury Festival. In their discography, the EPs Daughters of Daughters (2018) and Wrong Girl, Honey (2019); and the albums Ride or Die (2023) and Good Boy (2024).

Among the new additions to the Tenerife Phe Festival 2026 lineup, the Madrid-based band is noteworthy VVV [Trippin’ You], a trio that mixes post-punk, synthwave, and dark electronic music with a strong aesthetic rooted in urban and nocturnal imagery. The group has become one of the most prominent names in the new Spanish underground scene of guitars and synthesizers. Their songs combine danceable rhythms, dense atmospheres, and generational lyrics filled with irony and disillusionment.

The formation led by Adrián Bremner has positioned itself as a fierce creature on the national scene and works such as Scale (2020), Turboviolence (2021) or emptier (2023) has led them to play at some of the most relevant festivals of the genre in our country such as SONAR, BBK, or MIRA Festival, as well as on different stages in the United States, Mexico, or Colombia. Their latest album is Mecharadio (2025), where electronics move between the cinematic and the sensory.

Goose's synthetic rhythms are set to close Phe Festival

The Belgian group joins the lineup of the ninth edition of the festival in Porto on Saturday with an electro rock, festive and dance-oriented proposal

#Phe2024 || #UnicoInCanarias || #WeTalkMusic

The synthetic rhythms and broad-spectrum electro rock in which the Belgian group's music moves Goose will be the closing soundtrack of the ninth edition of Phe Festivel, which will be held on August 23 and 24 in Puerto de La Cruz. The quartet formed by Mickael Karkousse, Dave Martijn, Tom Coghe and Bert Libeert comes to Phe Festival in excellent form and with a vibrant live performance that invites you to dance, in a year that celebrates the twentieth anniversary of a notable professional career.

Goose was formed in the summer of 2000 in Kortrijk, Belgium. After winning first prize at the Humo's Rock Rally competition for new bands in 2002, they recorded their first single with Teo Miller, Audience. A piece that would give the Danes a notable media prominence, since Coca-Cola used the debut single for television advertisements for the brand that were broadcast throughout Europe.

With six studio albums released to date, the debut album of Goose arrived in 2006 with the launch of Bring it on, the result of a contract with the Skint Records label. The band toured the festival stages of half of Europe and expanded their borders in the Australian and Japanese markets. Then came Synrise, Goose's second album, released in 2010, with art by Storm Thorgerson – graphic designer and member of the Hipgnosis team, author of iconic covers for Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath or Scorpions-, which made possible a new European tour for Goose. The piece Synrise which gives the album its title was remixed by Soulwax, among others.

Control Control Control, from 2012, recorded live in the studio with the collaboration of Paul Stacey (Noel Gallagher) and Dave Sardy (Oasis, ZZ Top); the fourth What You Need, from 2016, which reached number one on the Ultratop chart; the most recent Endless, from 2022, in addition to the live Nonstop (Live at Pukkelpop, 2018), and singles, remixes and rarities aside, complete the discography of a band with an electrifying live performance.

The Belgian band is celebrating its anniversary. An anniversary that spans more than two decades that Goose wants to celebrate with their fans. “The essence of Goose is the connection we share with you, our big family, whose passion and energy make each performance unforgettable,” the group details on its website, while announcing the start of the celebration concerts, after their time at Phe Festival, at the Lotto Arena on 16 November 2024. “It won’t be just any show; it will be a journey through time, in which we will relive the hits that defined our shared history and prepare for new melodies that hint at the exciting future that awaits us,” the quartet assures.

"After Audience We released our debut album, Bring It On, which was the spark that ignited a journey beyond our wildest dreams. Our travels have taken us from intimate clubs to huge crowds, across Europe, China, Japan, North America, South America and Australia. Together we have created a discography that resonates with the rhythm of our shared experiences, from the anthemic high of Synrise to the pulsating rhythms of British Mode, Call Me and Words“Each note is a chapter in our collective story, which has earned us accolades and a revered place in the hearts of music lovers around the world,” the group explains.

THE SENRA PHENOMENON

Christian Senra is the name behind the alias 'Sen Senra', a versatile musician with whom international artists such as C. Tangana, Julieta Venegas, Feid and Tainy have already collaborated. In 2019, he published 'Sensaciones', an album that marked a before and after not only in his career, but in the artistic scene, which received him as a genuine revelation. The Galician artist has refined his own sound that has conquered an ever-growing audience, distancing himself from the stigmas of the urban genre, with brilliance, concision and, most importantly, style. The title of his latest album 'PO2054AZ' is, at first glance, a license plate of an old Peugeot 205 from Pontevedra but, behind it, hides the artist's most emotional journey, discovering his most eclectic songs, with an international sound that mixes the urban, American influences and avant-garde essence.

A FESTIVAL FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY

The festival also maintains the concept Family Friendly, planning like every year the accessibility of boys and girls to the venue during the day, bringing music and culture closer to all ages, with the idea of being a family-friendly, conciliatory and accessible festival. A varied program of activities, including art exhibitions, skate, bmx and related disciplines exhibitions, outdoor sports workshops, or yoga sessions, accompanies the concerts with the security of offering that added value that they call 'The perfect vacation plan in the Canary Islands'.

Vacation enjoyment during the festival week in the city of Porto continues to be one of the great bets of this event that marks the musical trend and summer on the islands. For this reason, on its website you can access the offer of travel packages that include accommodation, passes and flights. In the case of residents in Tenerife, they can also purchase packs with a pass for the festival + hotel.

Phe Team assumes the executive production of this festival, promoted by the Culture area of the Puerto de la Cruz City Council. It also has the sponsorship of the Government of the Canary Islands through the Canarian Institute of Cultural Development and the General Directorate of Youth, Tourism of the Canary Islands, as well as the Cabildo of Tenerife through the Tenerife Culture and Tourism Area. The brands Aqualia, IKEA, Levi's, Pepsi, Fuente Alta, Grupo RAHN, Labrador Cepsa Puerto de la Cruz, and Hemispheria also collaborate.
