All of this is supported by booking agencies, record labels, and promoters, both national and international.

The presence of Dorian In Puerto de la Cruz it is an opportunity to enjoy the live performance of a band that has a very personal sound, with that mix of guitars and synthesizers, organic drums and electronic bases, and lyrics of creality. In his concert at Phe Festival, Dorian will be presenting his latest album. Impossible futures, as part of a tour in which they will travel through different points of Spain and a good part of the American continent.

In this album, Marc Gili, Belly Hernández, Bart Sanz and Lisandro Montes explore territories close to electronic pop, new wave and the folk An alternative, to move the audience with ten songs as profound as they are dazzling, which speak of grief caused by breakups, and the death and disappearance of several friends on the dark side of the night. Issues such as the fragility of human beings and the importance of forgiving and knowing how to ask for forgiveness surface in the story of Impossible Futures. Overall, it is an existentialist album that brings us back to Dorian. more heartbreaking, emotional and visceral.

In the words of the band itself, Impossible futures It is the expression of everything that cannot happen because something stopped or diverted the flow of events. "Almost all the songs on this album are the result of moments of crisis that, nevertheless, led us to understand that for every impossible future, life gives us another that wasn't planned, and that is capable of dazzling us like a new dawn, if we have the will and attitude necessary to overcome grief and reinvent ourselves," the group assures.

Songs from the repertoire of Dorian What Any other partThe sandstorm or The friends I lost, among others, are in their own right generational anthems, thus endorsed by critics and the public.

Active since 2004, to date, Dorian has released six studio albums with original songs, in addition to the unplugged Ten years and one day, and two live albums, one recorded at the Spanish Arenal Sound festival, and the other at the Gran Teatre del Liceu in Barcelona. Pioneers in the modernization of the blend of pop and electronic music, as well as skillful renovators of post-punk and new wave sounds, their discography includes works such as 10,000 metropolises (2004), The future belongs to no one (2006), The underground city (2009), The speed of the vacuum (2013), Universal Justice (2018) and Ritual (2022).

Dance nights in Puerto de la Cruz

Phe Festival is the third Spanish city where the Belgians will be present. 2manydjs in djset format, and Puerto de la Cruz will be one of the nine dates confirmed in 2025. And Phe Festival's commitment to dance music and club culture is aimed towards Belgium in 2025 with the presence of the parallel project of the electronic and alternative rock band Soulwax led by brothers David and Stephen Dewaele. The pulse of these two Belgian musicians and producers has changed the concept of remixing and the art of mashupDance floor legends around the world for their eclectic sessions where they bring a rock and roll attitude to club culture. Imitated by countless artists since they released the iconic and referential As Heard on Radio Soulwax Pt 2 (2002), with a deluxe reissue in 2022, 2manydjs comes to Phe Festival in DJ format to celebrate the tenth anniversary of the Puerto Rican festival with his catalogue of impossible remixes in which music from different generations and styles intersect, and songs are related that become fuel for the dance floor.

Stephen and David Dewaele have been pushing the boundaries of music since 1995, branching out into new musical territory: a band (Soulwax), DJs (2manydjs), a record label (DEEWEE), and a sound system (Despacio), as well as creating an app and website (Radio Soulwax). As 2manydjs, they've been bridging the past, present, and future like no one else. In their own words, "doing it the hard way since 2002."

Two brothers who have become one of the most innovative remixing and production teams today. Their most recent works include Cliche, by Charlotte Adigéry & Bolis Pupul; Sponge cake, by Rosalia; Too Late Now, by Wetleg; I Go, by Peggy Gou; Sensitive Child, by Oliver Sim; You Make Me Feel (Mighty Real), by Sylvester; and the Grammy-nominated Work It, by Marie Davidson; in addition to Fontaines DC, Diplo, Chet Faker, Roisin Murphy, LA Priest, Robyn, SG Lewis featuring Robyn & Channel Trios, Arcade Fire, The Rolling Stones, Tame Impala, Metronomy, Daft Punk, The Gossip, Hot Chip, MGMT and Warpaint, among other artists.

In September 2023, David and Stephen were honored at the AIM Awards for Outstanding Contribution to Music by Soulwax, 2manydjs, and the DEEWEE label.

Two days of live music

To the two-day live music program, which in 2025 will incorporate a third stage dedicated to dance music after the success of the Dome Space, The tent with DJs and selectors scheduled in the last edition, is added to the program of activities of Phe Experiences, with numerous parallel activities in the days leading up to the festival to enrich the stay of the thousands of festival-goers who come to Puerto de la Cruz during those days, such as Phe Gallery, Phe Yoga, and Urban Sports.

In addition, Phe Festival has reached a historic milestone in its history by obtaining the A Greener Future (AGF) certification, awarded by this prestigious British audit expert in sustainability for festivals and cultural events at an international level. This achievement places the festival as a benchmark in the Canary Islands, being the only event in the archipelago to validate this 2024 certification so far, and underlines its firm commitment to protecting the environment and the positive impact of the festival in Puerto de la Cruz and its surroundings.

Phe Festival has been integrated into Puerto de la Cruz as a fundamental part of a cultural strategy that shares values with the tourist tradition, as has been demonstrated by its continuity and support from municipal institutions regardless of their political colour among its citizens. The festival adds value to its environment and is nourished by it, contributing to the coexistence between citizens of Puerto de la Cruz and visitors. In the last decade and under the auspices of Phe Festival, a new generation of festival-goers, lovers of good music, has been formed, making it possible for this alternative project born in 2016 to become a reference for many other events in the Canary Islands.

Dance cures everything on the second day of Phe Festival 2024

The ninth edition of the festival had the best possible closing in its history, with energetic and overwhelming live performances by León Benavente, Trentemøller and Goose

#Phe2024 || #UnicoInCanarias || #WeTalkMusic

Dancing cures everything and the musical sequence between stages at the PHE Festival on its second Saturday day clung to the dance floor as if there was no tomorrow. The concerts by León Benavente, Trentemøller and Goose were great, both for the attitude and impact of these bands, each in their own style and musical concept, and for the response they received from the public. And as the PHE Festival is not only fuelled by speed and electronic sequences, the Saturday day left more intimate and bare proposals in the musical aspect, and others that move between rock and pop, funk, psychedelia and new flamenco, which had Mavica, Shego, Nala Rami and Camellos as protagonists.

Above all, it was a night of dancing, with DJs and selectors on the third stage inaugurated this year, the Espacio Domo Jagermeister. One of those unique and unforgettable days that are the hallmark of PHE Festival, which was taken away when León Benavente took to the main stage, after 9:00 p.m., with Abraham Boba, who knows how to lead the audience to the right place. It was the second time that the band was in Puerto de la Cruz, after the 2017 edition, and their formula of rock implemented with sequences and structures that draw on the most vitamin-rich kraut got an audience on its feet, jumping and singing along, who also wanted to go crazy at the feast that León Benavente was serving up.

A complete repertoire that started with Type D and ended much higher with Yesterday I went outThe band shook up their discography, four albums released, plus EPs and others, in a concert with a notable electronic pulse, increasingly present, in which without respite and with Abraham Boba moving in and out, they sounded There is no fear, Provisional state, Like the stone that floats and I love, in a first loop of songs. Brave spirit, almost an ancient hymn in their repertoire, La Ribera, California, Shooting the horses, Our anniversary, Mythical, At the feast, Being a Brigade, Glory and the aforementioned Yesterday I went out, completed a concert that is already historic in the history of PHE Festival.

But before the story of the last dance that PHE Festival brought, with Trentemøller and Goose, we must take note of what happened in the middle of the afternoon at the opening, which had Mavica on the stages of the port area, fronted by Marta Casanova, who opened the doors to the pop melancholy, acoustic and with electronic production, with which she has dressed the album. Sometimes a person never comes back (but that's okay). After her, the Madrid-based Maite, Raquel and Charlotte, the members of Shego, gave a concert in which they made good on the label of emerging band with the album Good luck girl (2023). Among others, they sounded Forgive me, Oh Boi, Sorry, I'm crying all over, I'm horny, I'll kill you or Steak Tar Tar, with which they ran out of time.

THE MIRROR BALL

The pop psychedelia and neo flamenco that make the Sevillians Vera Fauna their hallmark (version of I blush, by Papa Levante, included) was another of the sensations of the second day of PHE Festival, in which there was also room for old school funk with Nala Rami, the group of the Gran Canarian saxophonist Alan Himar. The winner of the Sonora Las Palmas de Gran Canaria competition arrived in Puerto de la Cruz with Pasaporte Sonora and a set that embraced the mirror ball with pieces such as I died in the disco, Superficial or Sundays.

The final stretch of PHE Festival was in another league, with the Danish Trentemøller in band format, the Madrid-based Camellos and the Belgian group Goose. Without a doubt, the international triumph of this edition goes to the musician, DJ and producer Anders Trentemøller, and the musicians he came with: Diisa Jakobs (vocals, guitars, synthesizers), Silas Tinglef (drums, guitars), Brian Batz (guitars) and Jacob Haubjerg (bass). The Danish maestro made his debut in Puerto de la Cruz with a master class on dream pop, shoegaze, psychedelia, with passages of the caliber of Dreamweavers or Moan, and others where the guitars in the shadow of Dick Dale, for example, are contaminated with acidic and twisted rhythms. Superlative elegance for electronic gourmets.

Before the party electro rock of Goose, the PHE Festival lowered the revolutions slightly to welcome Camellos. The punk adjective applied to the Madrid group has to do with the songs and how the public reacts, as could be seen. From their own creation, they delivered songs such as Mallet, Divorce, Rice with things, Who is laughing now, Copper flavor or Dance factory, by Joe Crepúsculo, who they invited to sing with them to make the party complete.

The closing of the PHE Festival was for Goose and the catchy electro rock played by the Belgians. Songs like Bring it on, title in addition to the debut album in 2006, or What you need, to name some of the hits that the quartet brought to Puerto de la Cruz, set the pace and the final dance steps for the ninth PHE Festival.

Lori Meyers' timeless songs light up the first night of PHE Festival

The Granada band offered a masterful concert on their first visit to Tenerife with a repertoire of greatest hits before a devoted audience

#Phe2024 || #UnicoInCanarias || #WeTalkMusic

The PHE Festival It is a musical and trend-setting event that accommodates all possible types of music. It is not a festival of indie groups, an outdated term that labels anything; nor is it a festival of electronics and dance; nor even of urban sounds, trap or any subgenre that entices the new generations. But in each new edition, and there are nine with the one in 2024, the PHE Festival It embraces all proposals and artists, from within and outside, who move within any of the aforementioned style coordinates.

The ninth edition, whose concert programme started this Friday, August 23, maintains this roadmap unchanged with artists such as the Granadans Lori Meyers, the Galician Sen Senra or the Barcelonan twilight joeFor the three of them, each in their own space and with their own audience, it was the first day of the festival in Puerto de la Cruz, with Lori Meyers getting a high mark.

The band led by Antonio López Noni did not disappoint in their first concert in Tenerife, due to their staging, attitude and a repertoire full of everlasting songs, which remain in the collective imagination and no longer belong to the band, but to the public, in this case to the thousands of people who followed each of the lyrics out loud. A great party in which all the expected ones fell: Beings of light, Neon lights, Flatland, Springs, Punk, Fireflies, You don't say anything anymore, Time will pass, The sun always shines, Make you fly, the long-awaited and celebrated Getting drunk, Are they back?, My reality and High fidelity

The first day of PHE Festival It had much more than the long-awaited meeting with Lori Meyers, as it was the first concert of the Galician Sen SenraThere was expectation to see the evolution of this rising figure of urban pop, who came to PHE Festival with his latest album PO2054AZ, the sound alibi to trace an emotional journey with his most eclectic creations. And since Sen Senra enchants, a couple got engaged while the song was playing Scent.

With two artists called to play in the major leagues in the opening, the British Canary Islander Enrique Ive and its newly released EP Pileus, produced by Pablo Queu; and the singer from Tenerife Jela, who played songs from his recent album with ease and good flow Temple, accompanied by her band Los Maledukaos and the collaborations of Cristina Mahelo and Fernikhan, the first day of PHE Festival left good feelings among the public with the concerts of Repion, Pipiolas, Soleá Morente, Dove, and the final flourish that he put twilight joe, who made good on his role as a techno troubadour, an album released in 2022, with pieces like The song of your life, Jose House and The dance factory, among others.

Phe Team takes over executive production of PHE Festival, an event promoted by the Culture Department of the Puerto de la Cruz City Council. It also has the sponsorship of the Government of the Canary Islands through the Canary Islands Institute for Cultural Development and the General Directorate of Youth, Canary Islands Tourism, as well as Tenerife Tourism - Tenerife! Wake Up Emotions and the Tenerife Island Council through the Culture Department. The brands Aqualia, Levi's, Heineken, IKEA, Pepsi, Jagermeister, Fuente Alta, Grupo RAHN, Labrador Cepsa Puerto de la Cruz, and Hemispheria also collaborate.

Goose's synthetic rhythms are set to close Phe Festival

The Belgian group joins the lineup of the ninth edition of the festival in Porto on Saturday with an electro rock, festive and dance-oriented proposal

#Phe2024 || #UnicoInCanarias || #WeTalkMusic

The synthetic rhythms and broad-spectrum electro rock in which the Belgian group's music moves Goose will be the closing soundtrack of the ninth edition of Phe Festivel, which will be held on August 23 and 24 in Puerto de La Cruz. The quartet formed by Mickael Karkousse, Dave Martijn, Tom Coghe and Bert Libeert comes to Phe Festival in excellent form and with a vibrant live performance that invites you to dance, in a year that celebrates the twentieth anniversary of a notable professional career.

Goose was formed in the summer of 2000 in Kortrijk, Belgium. After winning first prize at the Humo's Rock Rally competition for new bands in 2002, they recorded their first single with Teo Miller, Audience. A piece that would give the Danes a notable media prominence, since Coca-Cola used the debut single for television advertisements for the brand that were broadcast throughout Europe.

With six studio albums released to date, the debut album of Goose arrived in 2006 with the launch of Bring it on, the result of a contract with the Skint Records label. The band toured the festival stages of half of Europe and expanded their borders in the Australian and Japanese markets. Then came Synrise, Goose's second album, released in 2010, with art by Storm Thorgerson – graphic designer and member of the Hipgnosis team, author of iconic covers for Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath or Scorpions-, which made possible a new European tour for Goose. The piece Synrise which gives the album its title was remixed by Soulwax, among others.

Control Control Control, from 2012, recorded live in the studio with the collaboration of Paul Stacey (Noel Gallagher) and Dave Sardy (Oasis, ZZ Top); the fourth What You Need, from 2016, which reached number one on the Ultratop chart; the most recent Endless, from 2022, in addition to the live Nonstop (Live at Pukkelpop, 2018), and singles, remixes and rarities aside, complete the discography of a band with an electrifying live performance.

The Belgian band is celebrating its anniversary. An anniversary that spans more than two decades that Goose wants to celebrate with their fans. “The essence of Goose is the connection we share with you, our big family, whose passion and energy make each performance unforgettable,” the group details on its website, while announcing the start of the celebration concerts, after their time at Phe Festival, at the Lotto Arena on 16 November 2024. “It won’t be just any show; it will be a journey through time, in which we will relive the hits that defined our shared history and prepare for new melodies that hint at the exciting future that awaits us,” the quartet assures.

"After Audience We released our debut album, Bring It On, which was the spark that ignited a journey beyond our wildest dreams. Our travels have taken us from intimate clubs to huge crowds, across Europe, China, Japan, North America, South America and Australia. Together we have created a discography that resonates with the rhythm of our shared experiences, from the anthemic high of Synrise to the pulsating rhythms of British Mode, Call Me and Words“Each note is a chapter in our collective story, which has earned us accolades and a revered place in the hearts of music lovers around the world,” the group explains.

In addition, the album is scheduled to be released on October 4th. G20SE, featuring the 20 most iconic songs from Goose's repertoire, along with two previously unreleased tracks.

The authors of songs like Bring it on, Everybody, Check or Black Gloves will be on the stage of Phe Festival in Puerto de la Cruz on August 24, on the second day of concerts, on a Saturday in which there will be much to see, hear and dance to from artists such as the Danish group Danish group Trentemøller, León Benavente -in what will be his second visit to the Phe Festival after the 2017 edition-, shego, Camels, Vera Fauna, Mavic and Nala Rami. All this with a previous Friday of opening of the festival in Puerto de la Cruz, also of long duration, with the performances of Enrique Ive, Jela, Pipiolas, Repion, Dove, twilight joe, Solea Morente, Sen Senra and Lori Meyers

Music and artists that resonate in Phemenino

The ninth edition of the Phe Festival features female voices of different styles and generations such as Solea Morente, Shego, Pipiolas, Repion, Jela and Mavica, who will perform in Puerto de la Cruz on August 23 and 24.

#PHE2024 || #UnicoInCanarias || #WeTalkMusic

The ninth edition of PHE Festival, which will be held on August 23 and 24 in Puerto de la Cruz, has a woman's name in a large part of its artistic lineup, with the presence of singers, composers and instrumentalists of different generations and styles, such as the Tenerife native Jela, Solea Morente, Pipiolas, Repion, Mavic and shego. Big names on the national and international scene, such as Solea Morente, one of the headliners of the first day of PHE Festival, along with the band Lori Meyers, who has not given up his family roots and his flamenco background to experiment with pop rock and more alternative sounds; and other figures called to be phenomena in their field, revelation artists, etc., a label that falls on shego, Mavic and Pipiolas and in the singer from Tenerife Jela. And without losing sight of the impact of the Cantabrian duo Repion, active for over a decade.

A group of women with a wide-spectrum creative universe in which there is everything: rap and urban sounds with a different pace that feed the new musical harvest in the Canary Islands; flamenco substratum with splinters of rock and pop; grunge and post-adolescent frustration; and electric dreams of pop melancholy, among other kinds of style.

Of the aforementioned formations, four will perform on Friday 23rd, on the first day of concerts of PHE Festivel. A long afternoon in which the public that comes to the traditional call of the festival of El Puerto in the penultimate week of August, will be able to discover the live performances of Jela, Pipiolas, Repion and Solea Morente, along with other bands performing that day, such as: Enrique Ive, Dove, Joe Twilight, Sen Senra and Lori Meyers. The other two bands with women's names, Mavic and shego, perform on Saturday 24th and share the stage with Nala Rami, Camels, Leon Benavente and Trentemøller, among others.

The singer from Tenerife Jela She is an artist who looks beyond rap and last year released her first album, Temple. An artist called to write major pages and who is presented at the PHE Festival in a state of effervescence with a bouquet of songs that already walk alone, like Warrior Rial, Temple, The Messiah or I love you to death, all of his recent harvest.

Jela will be accompanied live by a band of musicians that make up Manu Alles To the bass, Fernando Angulo on percussion, Hector Left to the guitars, and Alberto Martin on keyboards. And she will be the second to perform on Friday 22nd after the opening with Enrique Ive. After the Tenerife singer, the time sequence of the first day, barring any changes, leads to two very different sound proposals: Pipiolas and RepionPipiolas is a duo based in Madrid, a creation of the Elefant label, formed by the Gran Canarian Adriana Ubani and the madrilenian Paula Reyes, and with its own musical language, mature, fresh and fun, it is asking for a place thanks to its first album There is no god and countless stellar collaborations.

The blame for the success shared by the two singers and actresses who embarked on this story that began in 2022 with the release of the single Daffodil, They have songs like I'm not a Xoxo, Love song for you, Own ballads, Pogo at home, Saint Peter, Do you dance or what? or Baby, among others from the repertoire of There is no god

A special proposal that of Pipiolas, who have toured half the peninsula with festivals and concerts in which they have conquered the public and critics with a pop full of edges and fantasy in which it is impossible to get bored, in which there are great melodies, arrangements and an overflowing imagination. With a handful of hits in their repertoire and they are called to be one of the great news of Spanish pop in the coming years, because they are creative, effervescent, unprejudiced, brainless, illuminated, brilliant, fun, exciting and energetic. The Pipiolas live line-up is completed with Philip Sauerwald, guitar; Alvaro Angel, battery; and Marina Hurtado, To the bass.

With the Cantabrian duo Repion The PHE Festival enters into other sound coordinates. The sisters Marine (guitar and vocals) and Teresa Inesta (drums and backing vocals) feed this creature with a lot of vitality, teenage rage and a touch of melancholy. A sound that draws from grunge and pop but goes beyond and connects with alternative rock references such as Sleater-Kinney or Juliana Hatfield, and others such as Dover, Big Thief or the Beatles.

A rock discharge with a knife between the teeth, with just the right amount of joy in the lyrics and a live performance that runs over. Their latest work is the EP We all fix it together (Mushroom Pillow, 2024), released last May, which includes candies of the caliber of The day doesn't give me any time, Friday, what about you? and They come from having a good time. In his discography we must notice the debut album Poppy hurts (2016) and the album of the same name Repion (2023) and first for Mushroom Pillow.

The two sisters who give life to Repion They collaborate on other parallel projects: Marina is a guitarist and backing vocalist in Mikel Erentxun's band; and Teresa is a singer and guitarist in a new pop-punk project called Aiko, as well as a drummer in Yawners.

The voice of Solea Morente is one of the great protagonists of the first day of PHE Festivel 2024. The flamenco roots of the Morente saga preside over each of their movements, whether towards pop or alternative rock, among projects of different nature in

those he has worked on. His will be the stage before the concerts of Sen Senra and Lori MeyersThe name of Soleá Morente compels us to pay tribute to one of the most important families in Spanish music, formed by the Granada singer Enrique Morente and the dancer Aurora Carbonell.

A versatile and chameleonic creator who has projected herself in film and television and especially in music. Her beginnings were in 2011 with Los Evangelistas, a tribute band to her father Enrique Morente, which included members of Los Planetas and Lagartija Nick, with whom she would publish the EP as lead singer Meeting (2013). Since then, Soleá Morente, who in 2018 received the Princess of Girona Foundation Award for Arts and Letters, has released four albums in which she has been able to touch on countless styles with radically different parameters: electronic, rock, pop, indie, shoegazing, techno, rumba and flamenco. There will have to be a way (The Volcano/Sony, 2015), Ole Lorelei (The Volcano/Sony,2018), What you are missing (Elefant, 2020) and Aurora and Henry (Elefant, 2021), are the long-form works to date in which Soleá Morente has had on her side big names from the national scene, including Guille Milkyway (La Casa Azul), Ana Fernández-Villaverde (La Bien Querida), David Rodríguez (La Estrella de David) or Jota (Los Planetas).

A SATURDAY WITH MAVICA AND SHEGO

On Saturday 24th the PHE Festival puts the spotlight on Mavica and Shego. Mavic, an artist and producer from Cartagena based in London, will be the second performance of the second day of concerts, while the Madrid trio Shego will do so later and before the festival in El Puerto and its public meet again with León Benavente.

Mavic is the project of artist Marta Casanova. Her sound mixes folk with indie, pop and electronic sounds, a kind of pop melancholy wrapped in electronic production that has earned her millions of plays on streaming platforms. She moved to London when she began studying Performance and Production at the London College of Creative Media. There she wrote her first EP, Gonand, which includes the song Fire Critically acclaimed on The Line of Best Fit and The 405. In September she released her debut album Sometimes a person never comes back (but that's okay), which received support from Rolling Stone, Billboard Latin, Clash, C-Heads, Early Rising, Paste, BBC Radio 1, KCRW and took her to the front page of the playlists Indie Radar from Spotify and Global Rising from Tidal. MAVICA has frequently performed at festivals such as Primavera Sound, Mad Cool and O Son Do Camino and has supported Alice Phoebe Lou, Roo Panes, Blanco White and Low Island.

shego is a rock band from Madrid formed by Maite, Raquel and Charlotte. MIN Award for Best Emerging Artist 2023 and an album released Good luck girl (2023), Shego is another of the pearls in the Saturday session of the PHE Festival with hymns full of light and shadows that lead us through love, grief, rage, and internal conflicts. In February 2023 they released their debut album and have a second work in the pipeline with which they intend to make a statement to establish themselves as the band leading the resurgence of rock in Spain. They co-produce with the help of Asha Lorenz (member of the group Sorry) what will be an album full of vertices in the

that play with the idea of two sides of the coin, hymns full of light and shadow that lead us through love, grief, rage, and internal conflicts. Strength and darkness in a project that exudes freshness and maturity in equal parts and that confirms to us that shego is without a doubt the present and the future.

Phe Team takes on the executive production of PHE Festival, an event promoted by the Culture Department of the Puerto de la Cruz City Council. It also has the sponsorship of the Government of the Canary Islands through the Canary Islands Institute for Cultural Development and the General Directorate of Youth, Canary Islands Tourism, as well as Tenerife Tourism - Tenerife! Sen Senra will set style in Puerto de la Cruz

The urban pop phenomenon arrives in Puerto de la Cruz in its first concert in the Canary Islands with the tour PO2054AZ, also the title of his new three-volume album project. The artist is crowned as one of the greats of the Spanish scene, setting trends in each work.

The urban pop phenomenon, Sen Senra, is one of the outstanding artists presenting the ninth edition of PHE Festival, which will be held on August 23 and 24 in the Tenerife municipality of Puerto de la Cruz. It will be the first concert that Sen Senra, the alias of Christian Senra, will hold in the Canary Islands and it seems like an exceptional opportunity to enjoy the live performance of this musician and composer born in Pontevedra, who has collaborated with figures such as C. Tangana, Julieta Venegas, Feid or Tainy, and since his debut album in 2015, he has conquered the public and the national and international market with songs that are anthems.

Sen Senra arrive at PHE Festivel in 2024 in Puerto de la Cruz with the tour PO2054AZ and the title of his new three-volume recording project. The title of the album and the tour is the license plate of a Peugeot 205 that his father owned, and which, on his countless trips, he discovered the music that would lead him to become an artist. Nostalgia for the past is the highway that leads to his most brilliant project to date. And it is Sen Senra's excuse to present an emotional journey, in which he discovers his most eclectic songs, where the urban is contaminated by pop, American influences, avant-garde and experimentation.

A journey that begins with I don't want to be a singer, a declaration of intent from the Galician ("I don't want to be a singer, I want to be something better"), going through pieces like One Of Those Cats, beside Sky Breaking (Feid, J Balvin…) or Completely crazy, produced by Tainy (Bad Bunny, Rosalía…), Senra DNA, Blue Jeans and a Crop Top, My North (with Ian Isiah), No Excuse, and others of the stature of Family or It doesn't matter what people think.

From his native Pontevedra, Sen Senra He began in 2015 to deliver songs condensed into two albums that immediately showed his facility for melody and for taking other people's references and turning them into his own. Permanent Vacation (2015) and The Art Of Self-Pressure (2017) were introductory albums, in English, that have little to do with the sound universe that Sen Senra manages today. The decisive moment in the Galician's career would come with his third job, Sensations (2020), produced by Anxo Ferreira. Here were hits that came to stay like YI don't need you, Don't let me go anymore, LIKE the fire or  86.400.

ROMANTIC ICON

Sen Senra He is a multifaceted and multidisciplinary musician of infinite charisma, according to his record company. A romantic icon with which the public and fellow generations immediately identified. Good proof of this was the call from C. Tangana to lock themselves up to write together How easy, a topic that became the seed of chrome heart (2021), EP that served as a follow-up to the celebrated Sensations (2020). A job that with pieces like wu wu, his collaboration with Feid, helped him continue opening the doors of the Latin public. His ability to transcend generations and audiences was demonstrated with another duet, in this case with none other than Julieta Venegas in Of you, with Manuel Lara, known for his productions for Kali Uchis, at the controls. Highlight, among their most recent collaborations, the song Beautiful coincidence, with Aitana, recorded months ago. The two met at her concert in Bogotá at the end of last year and decided to cross paths.

Sen Senra He is the fashionable artist. The tours through Latin America, with a special focus on Mexico where he has a legion of followers, with full houses at the Pepsi Center in Mexico City, among other milestones, packed concerts at the Wizink Center and at the Sant Jordi Club, show of the impact of his music and the public that follows him. Festivals such as Bilbao BBK Live, FIB Benicassim, Morriña Festival, Santander Music Festival, Sonorama Ribera, Festival B in Barcelona, FIZ Festival in Zaragoza or Cooltural Fest in Almería, as well as PHE Festival, mark Sen Senra's agenda until September of this year. In November, he has concerts scheduled at the National Auditorium in Mexico City. and in Puebla.

THE SENRA PHENOMENON

Christian Senra is the name behind the alias 'Sen Senra', a versatile musician with whom international artists such as C. Tangana, Julieta Venegas, Feid and Tainy have already collaborated. In 2019, he published 'Sensaciones', an album that marked a before and after not only in his career, but in the artistic scene, which received him as a genuine revelation. The Galician artist has refined his own sound that has conquered an ever-growing audience, distancing himself from the stigmas of the urban genre, with brilliance, concision and, most importantly, style. The title of his latest album 'PO2054AZ' is, at first glance, a license plate of an old Peugeot 205 from Pontevedra but, behind it, hides the artist's most emotional journey, discovering his most eclectic songs, with an international sound that mixes the urban, American influences and avant-garde essence.

A FESTIVAL FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY

The festival also maintains the concept Family Friendly, planning like every year the accessibility of boys and girls to the venue during the day, bringing music and culture closer to all ages, with the idea of being a family-friendly, conciliatory and accessible festival. A varied program of activities, including art exhibitions, skate, bmx and related disciplines exhibitions, outdoor sports workshops, or yoga sessions, accompanies the concerts with the security of offering that added value that they call 'The perfect vacation plan in the Canary Islands'.

Vacation enjoyment during the festival week in the city of Porto continues to be one of the great bets of this event that marks the musical trend and summer on the islands. For this reason, on its website you can access the offer of travel packages that include accommodation, passes and flights. In the case of residents in Tenerife, they can also purchase packs with a pass for the festival + hotel.
