BMX riders and skaters get wet at Phe Festival with stunts and jumps into the water from the pier
Skaters and BMX riders will get wet this Friday, August 24, starting at 2:00 p.m. with the spectacular display of jumps that we have prepared. Athletes will have a ramp, located on the Puerto de la Cruz pier, from which they can pick up speed and jump into the water.
The spectacular nature of these jumps will animate the hours before the doors open on the first day of concerts of this third edition of Phe Festival, scheduled for 5:00 p.m., and which will bring together the best live shows from The Killer Swing, Carlos Sadness, Nathy Peluso, pedrina, pumuky, Floridablanca, The Groove Brothers, minifefas and Kid Simius.
Professionals from La Marea Surf School and Rescate y Salvamento Canarias will collaborate for the correct development of the activity in which Islands BMX participates.
In addition, the dock area will have the setting of the music of Gerardo Cartón, music adviser, writer, producer and guest of the third edition of Phe, who will be playing next to the festival box office.

It was the night of the confirmation. After a week of previous activities, music finally arrived at Phe. And he did it to close the circle in the best possible way. The weather accompanied (with intense heat in the early hours of the afternoon), the artists and answered the public. And so, with this propitious setting, the Puerto de la Cruz event did what it does best: create a picture of good times.
Ph is something more than music. Like the great festivals, it begins to become a whole Vital experience. And that shows in the faces of the public and the artists. There is communion, there is happiness, there is a small world full of sensations.
The esplanade of the Porto wharf was dressed with stalls as flea market, gastronomy, rest areas, skate ramps… all as a complement to a crowded festive day, with a large audience (thousands) and delivered. From the early afternoon, almost with the opening of the doors, the festival atmosphere broke out in the concert area with the early risers who came to warm up Minifefas, Pumuki and Floridablanca.
With pedrina, entering the night little by little, the massive choirs already began. One of the great successes of that 2018 edition was 'discovering' for the Tenerife public Nathy Peluso. She, who, however, had already triumphed as soon as she appeared on stage. Soul and heart, overwhelming personality and a courage and artistic versatility that leads him to go from rap, jazz, salsa as if he were inventing each style at all times. It was the exotic note of the festival, a unique artist who at 22 is already universal and who leaves the feeling of only taking the first steps of a long career.
The night built bridges towards its conclusion with another good dose of personality: The Killer Swing. The band from Pamplona were perhaps the most anticipated band on this first day of the festival and they delivered and took Phe to its highest levels. Phe Festival in club format anticipates the summer with the performance of Joe Crepúsculo on March 22
Conceived as a circuit for live music, Phe Club will offer
five pre-festival parties spread across Tenerife, Las Palmas and Arrecife
Phe Club is conceptually a Itinerant music and trend festival that takes place in theaters, closed enclosures enabled for the occasion. A live music circuit with intermittent periodicity and variable location that opens on March 22 in Santa Cruz de Tenerife (O-Club, La Cascada building) with a poster headed by Joe Crepúsculo and Eme Dj, To which are added other Canarian references such as Berna, La Maldita and a regular on the islands such as Mr Paradise.
In a first proposal for the 2019 season, Phe Club will then travel through Puerto de la Cruz (May 31), Arrecife (June 1), La Laguna (July 5) and Las Palmas de Gran Canaria (July 6). A program of performances with trend-setting artists, who are a national benchmark beyond their music and the aesthetics they practice, which also incorporates the most outstanding Canarian proposals and which will reveal successive posters at each previous meeting. Among other groups already confirmed are Hidrogenesse, The Vinegars or renowned selectors of the national independent scene such as We Are Not Dj's.
As its name indicates, Phe Club has the vocation of a club, of bringing together people with common interests, associated with music, artistic currents and technology for a mixed and critical consumption. Just like a community of friends in social networks that are transferred to real life, a non-virtual extension of the phellower community, followers, faithful supporters, followers of the values and the playful and uninhibited spirit promoted by the Phe festival, which is held in Puerto de la Cruz since 2016.

Go back to Cross port the sample dedicated to the most current art that is exhibited through the most varied formats, Phe Gallery. As a relaxed approach to creativity, innovation and culture, Phe Festival invites you to participate in this call and be part of the programming of the 2019 edition.
If you are an emerging artist and you live in the Canary Islands, you cannot miss the opportunity to be at the festival that sets the trend. Painting, sculpture, graffiti, installations, photography, illustration, video art, performance... all techniques are valid in this call, especially those that give prominence to the urban and social.
Curated by Alex Letto, there will be around 20 proposals selected to be part of the exhibition that the Castillo San Felipe Cultural Space will take from the beginning of August with the most groundbreaking and avant-garde artistic creations on the island scene.
