Ghouljaboy is the personal project of Jordi Arroyo, who in 2019 became known with his first mixtape through La Vendición, the flagship label of the trap and urban scene in Spain. In 2020, the dead year for much of the music industry, it showed a frenetic activity for Ghoulja, who could not perform live but could record and evolve as an artist at great speed. Drinking from his background in post punk and indie pop bands and keeping one foot in urban music, he presented his first solid and determining project, 'El Rascal', with 18 songs in which he appears accompanied by names like Antifan, Yung Beef, Pedro Ladroga or Absolute Terror.
