Sixth edition of the legendary BMX high jump championship into the sea at the pier of Puerto de la Cruz, which has already become one of the festival-goers' favorites.
This year, over 1,000 euros in prizes!

The fishing pier becomes a stage for acrobatic jumps into the sea on BMX bikes from a set-up ramp. A truly refreshing spectacle.

KEEP IN MIND: The Puerto de la Cruz pier is a privileged environment that we want to continue enjoying in the best conditions. That's why, at Phe Festival, we are committed to a fun championship, but also responsible. Make sure your bike is in perfect condition for prevent parts, plastics, or metals from ending up in the water. They are small gestures that make a difference: taking care of our sea is taking care of the natural setting that makes this festival unique.

GUIDED TOUR TO THE TEIDE ASTRONOMICAL OBSERVATORY

Phellowers, we're heading to the stars! For the second year in a row, we're renewing our partnership with the Canary Islands Astrophysics Institute to invite you to a unique experience: discover the world's largest solar observatory, located in the heart of Teide National Park, on an exclusive guided tour.

The tour, valued at 21 euros, is completely FREE exclusively for festival attendees (all you need is your Phe Festival ticket to sign up for the tour).

Space is very limited. You must obtain an invitation at Tickety.

There will be 3 visits: Tuesday the 2nd, Wednesday the 3rd, and Thursday the 4th. We will meet at 9:40 AM in the parking lot of the Teide Observatory in Izaña. The visit will last approximately 1 hour and a half. An exclusive opportunity to learn about astrophysics, experience the universe up close, and start the Phe week by looking high up.

Not suitable for children under 8 years old. To access the visit, you will need to show your invitation along with your ticket for Phe Festival.

SUN FAMILY DANCE SESSION

An afternoon of electronic music and movement for the whole family. Imagine a dance floor filled with live beats from a DJ, while a movement and body specialist guides kids and adults alike to let go of tension, let loose, and dance together without rules. That’s SDFS: a a healthy, morning atmosphere full of energy a place to celebrate life through rhythm.

The session starts with a short warm-up designed for all ages, and continues with movement exercises so that everyone can find their flow and give it their all. For all ages, it doesn't matter if you are 5 or 75 years old The only thing you really need is the desire to get moving and have fun.

SURFSKATE WORKSHOP WITH BMP

Discover the thrill of surfing on asphalt! In this workshop, you'll learn the key techniques and moves of surfskating, an urban sport that improves your balance, coordination, and style while you have a blast. No prior experience is necessary—just a desire to try.

If you have your own skateboard and safety gear, perfect! If not, we'll provide the equipment for you (while supplies last).

On Saturday, August 24, we celebrate YOGA MEETING

A collective outdoor meeting in the El Peñón Stadium. Since the 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. We will enjoy a day full of balance and well-being, with a variety of styles such as Breathing and Meditation, a workshop Asanas Lab, a practice of Vinyasa Yoga, and a session of Ecstatic Dance with live music. Furthermore, the registration of only 5€ includes access to all practices and a snack, courtesy of our sponsors.

5th edition of this meeting that combines various yoga disciplines for all tastes and levels. He saturday 24 during the morning, we celebrate YOGA MEETING, an outdoor meeting in the El Peñón Football Field, enjoying four yoga and movement sessions with a single registration of €5. Dedicated to lovers of the practice and people who want to discover it. Join up!

Purpose of the call

Call for proposals from emerging artists in the Canary Islands for the eighth edition of the Phe Gallery group exhibition. The aim of this exhibition is to promote and highlight emerging artists whose creative work addresses, particularly, but not exclusively, issues related to recycling, the environmental crisis on the Canary Islands' coasts, and the preservation of natural environments. We are seeking projects that use art as a tool for reflection, denunciation, awareness-raising, and social transformation in the face of contemporary challenges: painting, sculpture, graffiti, installations, photography, illustration, video art, performance, site-specific work, and more.

Participants

Emerging artists from any discipline (visual, plastic, sound, performance, etc.) may participate.
They can be presented individually or collectively.
Priority will be given to artists residing in the Canary Islands or whose projects are linked to their natural, social, or cultural territory.
All participants must be of legal age.

Accepted projects

Works already completed or in production phase.
New projects, provided they can be completed within the established timeframes.
The following will be positively valued:
The use of recycled or reused materials.
Formal and conceptual innovation.
The technical and economic viability of the project.
The project's ability to interact with the natural or coastal space.
Artistic modalities: Installation – Sculpture – Painting – Photography – Video art – Sound art – Performance – Multidisciplinary projects

Project selection

The selection committee will be composed of professionals from the artistic, environmental, and cultural fields.
Projects will be selected to be exhibited or produced within the framework of the Phe Gallery 8th edition 2025 event/exhibition.
The committee's decision will be final.
Selected projects will receive:
Exhibition and media dissemination space.
Support and advice during the assembly process.
An invitation to Phe Festival
Possibility of selling the works on display,
promotion of the same and exhibition catalogue.

Copyright, image and data protection

Artists retain the copyright to their works.
The organization may use images of the selected works for the purposes of promoting, disseminating, and documenting the call for entries and the development of Phe Gallery, always citing the authorship.
The works submitted must be original and not, in whole or in part, copied or plagiarized from other artists.

Curatorial Team

The 9th edition de Phe Gallery is curated by beatrice rock along with a curatorial team made up of agents from the art world, from different domains, with the objective of having varied representation.

Directora de Galería Claro, especializada en dirección de proyectos culturales y comisariado de exposiciones contemporáneas. Actualmente coordina Phe Gallery 2026, en su cuarto año consecutivo. Entre sus colaboraciones destacan Teidelab, Espacio La Panera y Agüita Arte Contemporáneo en Hybrid Art Fair Madrid 2025, participando en el desarrollo y gestión de proyectos expositivos contemporáneos. Su trabajo conecta arte, cultura y gestión cultural de manera innovadora y eficaz.

M. LOHRUM

M. Lohrum is an Canarian artist specializing in performance drawing, educated between the University of La Laguna and Central Saint Martins in London. Her work has been recognized internationally with awards such as the Trinity Buoy Wharf Drawing Prize (2020), Zealous Stories: Performance (2021), and the Ann Judd Award from the Royal Birmingham Society of Artists Drawing Prize (2025). Her work has been exhibited at the Royal Academy (London), ArtN (Shanghai), The Royal West of England (Bristol), Drawing Now Art Fair (Paris), DRAW Space (Sydney), Manifest Gallery (Ohio), Canning Gallery (London), B74 Raum für Kunst (Lucerne), Fundação Eugénio de Almeida (Évora), The Copper Dollar Studios (Brighton), the Setouchi Triennale (Takamatsu), Tate Exchange (London), among others, as well as at reference institutions in the Canary Islands such as Tenerife Espacio de las Artes and Centro de Arte La Regenta.

Carlota Neris

Cultural manager, musicologist, and consultant with a career focused on managing artistic and cultural projects. Her experience spans artistic residencies, the music industry, visual arts, festivals, and citizen participation projects. She holds a degree in Musicology from the Royal Conservatory of Music in Madrid and a degree in Cultural Management from ICCMU (Madrid). She has collaborated with organizations such as Matadero Madrid, Consonni Ediciones, IED Innovation Lab, Elefant Records, Zuloark, and various independent cultural initiatives.

ADRIÁN TRUJILLO

Architect from the Higher Technical School of Architecture of Madrid. In 2015, she returned to Tenerife with the intention of promoting projects linked to the territory, culture, and social transformation. In 2019, together with other colleagues, she founded OFIC, a cooperative for architecture, design, and social innovation. Her practice explores the relationships between space, community, and landscape through collaborative processes and projects with social impact. She is currently participating in Entrealisios, Tenerife's first housing cooperative under a use-transfer agreement.
