"Phe Festival is the cultural insignia as the best event in the entire Canary Islands, as recognized by the Observatory of Culture at a national level, and this distinction has been achieved by positioning itself above institutions that even triple budgets," recalled Marco González. The mayor highlighted in his speech that "Phe Festival is much more than a festival, and not only because of its varied program of parallel activities, but also because of the effort they make every year regarding the festival's social awareness and the 2030 agenda." An event that in its history and on the eve of its eighth edition "has been a committed festival example and one of the festivals that most and best meet the Sustainable Development Goals, updating and renewing its commitments in each edition. That awareness must be put into value ”.

For his part, the vice-president of the Cabildo de Tenerife and insular Councilor for Tourism, Lope Afonso, congratulated the organization of Phe Festival for being “a reality that is no longer emerging but a consolidated and successful product. Eight years ago Phe Festival arrived in Puerto de la Cruz to tell what indie music was, being the first festival of its kind. Such has been the success that after eight editions it has established itself as a national and international reference”. A success that in his opinion is due to "a consolidated pairing of culture and tourism, have managed to generate a great capacity to attract visitors to the Port, becoming a reference that refreshes the type of visitors in Puerto de la Cruz”. A festival that "positions Tenerife's tourism strategy very well", according to Afonso, as confirmed by the public from up to 14 different autonomous communities that have Puerto de la Cruz as their destination and that attend the eighth edition of the Phe Festival. .

The insular Councilor for Culture, José Carlos Acha, also appreciated the commitment of the Phe Festival in this new edition and the fact that it works with music and culture together with tourism and the participation of the social environment. “We value the example that it represents for other initiatives, an event with a proposal and values that can be replicated, designed for a diverse audience in ages and tastes, musically eclectic but adequate in its combination”, pointed out Acha.

For his part, Ulises Salazar, co-director of Phe Festival, highlighted regarding the eighth edition of the event that "we continue to bet on a medium format event, following an event model almost gourmet, but without losing the popular character. We work with limited capacity to enjoy the experience with comfort, relaxation and a pleasant way of living it, avoiding queues and crowds. The person in charge of the festival also recalled that this year “very affordable access and consumer prices are maintained. This distinction is important to generate a quality vacation experience”.
