On August 23 and 24, the city of Puerto de la Cruz will host the ninth edition of the music and trends festival that marks the summer in Tenerife with a notable international presence on its lineup.

The ninth edition of PHE Festival, scheduled for August 23 and 24 in Puerto de la Cruz, announces its first confirmations with a selection of reference bands on the national scene such as Leon Benavente, shego and Camels and the unclassifiable American group !!! (Chk, Chk, Chk) as the first international. The seven announcements so far are completed with Skinny Pimp, Dove and Repion.
The festival presented the first new features of its lineup within the framework of Fitur 2024 | International Tourism Fair, along with the rest of the festivals and proposals that take place throughout the year in Puerto de la Cruz, integrating the cultural and creative ecosystem of the city.
The vacation experience continues to be one of the great bets of this event that marks the musical and summer trends on the islands. During the previous week, a varied program of activities is planned, improved and expanded given the success of previous editions, with the security of offering its audience that added value that they call 'The perfect vacation plan in the Canary Islands'.
The exhibitions of Urban Sports, associated with skateboarding, bmx and related disciplines, workshops and outdoor practices Summer Camp, the now traditional meeting of PHE Yoga, together with the collective exhibition of emerging artists PHE Gallery, which actually opens the festival at the end of July, complete this festival experience to enjoy the environment that Puerto de la Cruz offers as an ideal place to treat yourself to an incredible musical getawayl.
PHE Festival continues in 2024 with increasing progress in the selection of artists with international projection, anticipating that in the coming weeks it is planned to announce two other renowned references, in addition to several from the national scene never before enjoyed live on Tenerife.
The presence of Californians '!!!' It undoubtedly represents a stimulating surprise in the panorama of groups that usually perform in the Canary Islands, usually opting for other Latin styles and rhythms. With 25 years of career on stage, Chk Chk Chk They continue to garner the best reviews with their live performances, leading an eclectic and provocative style that they define as 'dance punk'.
León Benavente will be the first group to repeat the bill at PHE Festival, after their presence in 2017, with the exception of Triángulo de Amor Bizarro, who already exercised that distinction in unfortunate times of limited expression due to the pandemic. This essential national indie rock band has just finished its 10-year anniversary tour with great success, declaring sold out in all the venues where they performed.
The rest of the confirmations so far remain in a range of prominent groups on the scene, some selected among the best national live performances and albums of 2023, in the case of La Paloma, Shego, Camellos or Pimp Flaco. Tickets to attend the festival are now on sale on the platform Tickety.es , in Early Bird quality at a very affordable launch price still until Sunday, January 28.
Promotion for intrepid travelers
With the intention of positioning the municipality as a benchmark for live music, the festival has published on its website the offer of Travel packages which include accommodation, passes and flights.
The promotion includes transfers from Gran Canaria, Lanzarote and La Palma (other islands to consult), accommodation in hotels of different categories and a pass for both days of the festival. In the case of residents in Tenerife, they can also purchase packs with a festival pass + hotel, or a hotel-only offer if they already have a pass. Prices range between 142 and 210 euros, depending on the destination and the accommodation chosen.
In the coming days, it is also planned to announce the price offer for the public on the peninsula and other international destinations. In its last edition, a large number of festival-goers from practically all the autonomous communities were received in Puerto de la Cruz, except for Asturias, La Rioja, and Melilla, so in 2024 it is time to wake up.
