Art, music and creativity go hand in hand at the premiere of Phe Gallery, which will take place this Friday, August 2 at the Castillo San Felipe
The second edition of Phe Gallery opens its doors to the public tomorrow, Friday, August 2, at 9:00 p.m., at the Castillo San Felipe Cultural Space, a day that is complemented by a playful and creative program during the afternoon. The exhibition, curated by Alex Leto, brings together the work of 18 artists, including emerging creators and leaders in the current Canarian scene.
The exhibition will also feature bejo as a guest artist, one of the benchmarks of urban music in Spain, also a member of the group crazy beach, who will exhibit a selection of his famous Drawings for the first time in the room. These sheets show the creative concerns of the Canarian musician, in line with his particular aesthetic universe, and have come to be valued at more than 120,000 euros in an internet auction.
Art, music and talent will go hand in hand in this dynamic event that will host different activities. The djing4all workshop will open the day outside the castle at 6:00 p.m. with the help of Atomic Breaks. It will be a way to approach the potential of entertainment technologies through music by learning the tricks of the DJs. The artist will be there from 7:00 p.m. Victor Pacheco (Kob) live painting a mural (live painting) expressly designed for Phe Gallery.
Free access, Phe Gallery can be visited until August 24 during the regular hours of the Castillo San Felipe Cultural Space and has paintings by Cristóbal Tabares, Fernando Miñarro, Carmen Clogon, Greta Chicheri, Lía Ateca, Mariana Palomino, Pablo Falcón and Left Martínez; installations by artists such as Adassa Santana, Yosi Negrín, Laura Herranz & Óscar Latuag and Ducttape; or the sculpture of Dion Blake (sculpture/installation), Juan Carlos Batista and Ohiane de Felipe; in addition to the photographic work of Lucía Bellini & Magali Brincat, Ian Paulo Cazorla and Seigar. Pieces developed by creators committed to the project and the most current art, selected from an open call.
After the inauguration, the activity will continue with a music session outside by The cursed, offering attendees the opportunity to continue with the inauguration, exchange opinions and share experiences in a relaxed way.
