The organization of Phe Festival and the agency CanariasViaja.com have signed a collaboration agreement in order to promote and facilitate attendance from the entire Archipelago to the event, which is part of the planning project conceived in the Cultural Strategy of the Cross port 2020 and will take place on the days August 5 and 6 in the northern municipality of Tenerife.
This alliance materializes in the promotion of the festival by the agency specializing in the Canarian market with offers of flight, hotel and ticket for the concert, which will bring together in a closed area on the port esplanade, next to the sea, the groups Cycle, the red room, Of faith, Belako, Red Beard and Kostrok. Sandra Rodríguez, responsible for the area of culturea from the Porto City Council, clarifies: “Our efforts are focused on making Puerto de la Cruz a meeting point for interested people from other islands as well. Phe Festival It is a perfect excuse to spend a weekend in our city”.
With its own philosophy based on making weekends or vacations an unforgettable experience, CanariasViaja.com offers in its online and offline channels two packages whose prices range between 74 and 313 euros per person (with the Canarian resident discount applied), depending on the island of destination and accommodation. The first includes the flight with the company BinterCanarias, input of Phe Festival and stay in the Hotel Botanico & the Oriental Spa Garden on a bed and breakfast basis, and includes a basket of fruit and water on arrival, free access to The Oriental Spa Garden, 25-minute relaxing or aromatic massage, parking, Wi-Fi, as well as exclusive use of the Putting Green and tennis courts during the stay. The second proposal includes a flight with the company BinterCanarias, input for Phe Festival and stay in the Hotel Mars, an accommodation with a family atmosphere, located in the most central area of Puerto de la Cruz.
In this 2016 edition, the festival Phe Festival will make available to the public a program of fresh, unique and original artistic and social actions, designed to be enjoyed in Puerto de la Cruz, and which includes a meeting of a formative and informative nature, dedicated to cultural management and its implications for tourism entitled Ph I+C. In this way, it becomes another of the great bets promoted by the area of culture of the Porto city council -along with festivals such as journey, Mueca, port street art or Canary Jazz Festival–, from an inclusive and participatory principle and a defined commitment to quality that also affects the empowerment of cultural tourism.
