{"id":8271,"date":"2021-06-23T08:20:18","date_gmt":"2021-06-23T08:20:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/phefestival.es\/?p=8271"},"modified":"2021-08-08T17:36:20","modified_gmt":"2021-08-08T17:36:20","slug":"blog-actividades-paralelas-phe2021","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/phefestival.es\/en\/blog-actividades-paralelas-phe2021\/","title":{"rendered":"Phe Festival expands the program of parallel activities in its 2021 edition"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"p1\"><b>Urban sports, yoga, art and music to revitalize and convert Puerto de la Cruz into a benchmark for cultural and leisure activities in the Canary Islands.<\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">The 2021 edition of Phe Festival will feature an intense program of parallel activities that, grouped into themes such as art, urban sports, yoga or music, will help make Puerto de la Cruz a benchmark for cultural and leisure activities in the Canary Islands. <strong>Phe Gallery<\/strong>, a space for the exhibition of the current creation; <strong>Phe Sports<\/strong>, a catalog of competitions and shows of urban sports to experience and get to know the city and its citizens; or <strong>Phe Yoga<\/strong>, the union of mind and body through practice in the open air are some of the complementary proposals to the concert days that will take place in the month of August.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Any regular at Phe Festival, the event with independent music in Puerto de la Cruz, knows that they will not only find the mere exhibition of the live concerts \u2013 which will be held on Friday 20 and Saturday 21 August \u2013 but they will be able to enrich their experience festival-goer actively participating in a wide range of entertainment that invites the public to share emotions and dialogue, a meeting point that generates sensory dynamics that benefit everyone.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><b>Sports, Yoga and Gallery<\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">In the 2021 edition, some proposals that could not be carried out last year due to the pandemic, such as Phe Sports, will also return. Fans and professionals of urban sports will find a complete program in various areas of the city from Thursday 19 to Saturday 21 where adrenaline and action are the protagonists. It will begin on Thursday the 19th with the training session for the regional skate and BMX championship, which this year moves to the San Antonio skate park, one of the most complete in the Islands. The day of Friday 20 will be dedicated entirely to the competition in both disciplines.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">The sports aspect of the sixth edition of the Porto festival<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>presents as a novelty this year an urban downhill MTB with the aim of revitalizing the city center on the morning of Saturday 21. The test will begin at the Hotel Las \u00c1guilas and continue with a vertiginous descent to the fishing pier passing through the Taoro Park. Competitors roll individually and the one who reaches the finish line in the shortest time wins.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">To round it off, the fishing pier will once again be the scene of the Aqualia Water Jump, a spectacular display of acrobatic jumps into the sea, already traditional in the Phe Sports program. It will be on Saturday at noon when the riders will be able to jump into the sea from the ramp and achieve the best score by the judges.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">The sports activities end in the afternoon around the pier, with the awards ceremony and a sample of activities typical of urban culture such as break dancing and roller-skating in acrobatic and playful variations in dance mode.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">In its commitment to invigorate ideas and spirit, the festival once again incorporates into its programming one of the great trends that the health crisis left us in 2020: Phe Yoga. In this edition, the number of sessions is increased to enjoy this discipline that combines meditation and physical well-being, and will take place on Saturday, August 20, starting at 10 a.m. on the Isla del Lago Marti\u00e1nez.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">This year Phe Gallery will reflect mainly on the reality that we are living. In its bid to promote the work of artists from the Canary Islands, the collective exhibition will bring together, from July 30 to August 28 at the Castillo San Felipe Cultural Space, the work of 3TTMAN, Aldo Garc\u00eda, Carlos S. Pe\u00f1a, Cristina Millares, Federica Furbelli, Laura D\u00edaz, Lis es Beth, Manez, Moneiba Lemes, Noa Gonz\u00e1lez, Oscar Lorenzo, Paco S\u00e1nchez, Pathosx, Paula Calavera, Pelucas, Ra\u00fal Artiles and Serge Arzoumanian.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">The website of <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/phefestival.es\/en\/\">Ph 2021<\/a><\/strong> and the social networks will offer updated information with the details of the activities, calls and news that make up the Phe 2021 program.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Puerto de la Cruz and Phe Festival maintain with this program the artistic and entertainment proposals that it has been developing as an added value to the concerts that this year will be held on August 20 and 21 with a poster of musicians and bands in which references stand out. national and international such as Zahara, Rigoberta Bandini, Ana Tijoux, Mujeres, Biznaga, Mucho, Jack Bisonte or Pat Llombet.
